Welcome to the Friends of the Library Mooresville

Our Mission at The Friends of the Library, Mooresville is to support the Mooresville Public Library to promote literacy, education, technology, community, and culture among children and adults of every walk of life in the Mooresville area. The Friends meet most months on the second Monday of the month at 7PM at the Main Branch. Everyone is welcome. Please check the events calendar to confirm meeting dates, times, and locations. The Fall Speaker Series starts on September 18th with Judith Turner-Yamato. On October 23th we will hear from Bonnie Kistler. Finally on November 20th we will be joined by Kimberly Belle. Our new Race City Readers Book Club also started in September with an event at the Refillery on September 23rd (reserve you spot by emailing us at FriendsofMPLNC@gmail.com. In addition, we are looking for volunteers to assist with new programming efforts such as Book Delivery for Home Bound Individuals, Summer Reading Buddies, and Summer All-grade Tutors. The FOLM is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
