West Side Branch Support

The Town of Mooresville will open a West Side branch at the corner of Town Center Drive and Brawley School Road (in the old Rite-Aid Pharmacy Building) in the early Fall of 2022. The Friends are working with the Library Director to identify unmet needs for the new space and are soliciting funds in support of these needs. This will be a “full service” branch with significant children’s space and programing. We will provide additional information on the specific needs being funded as decisions are made. To date we have raised $2500 from donors. We hope to provide $10,000 to $20,000 in total support. Gifts of any size are appreciated. All donations for the West Side branch are held in a restricted account and will be disbursed with direction from the library director on the areas of greatest need. While the new branch is a leased location, all support will be focused on items that could be relocated if the branch moves in the future.
